Description
This came in my mind at once, as I discovered the outstanding example of acting skills, charm and wit that Sir Dirk Bogarde is.
I hope no one wants to kill me for this, but it needed be done! Incidentally, I do really, really love William Shatner's portrayal of James T. Kirk, and would never change anything in it, but I think this man would have been perfect for the role, done him justice as well. I can't believe he's been slipping by my sight until now.

The only work of Sir Bogarde's I have watched is Death in Venice. Despite Tadzio's stunning beauty, I was deeply touched by this actor's performance. He really expressed something that words couldn't and better not be expressed by words. And I found him very charming in an interview
